Things aren’t looking up for Bruce. Police aren’t catching on to the idea that Bruce was being chased by paparazzi when he became involved in that deadly Feb. 7 car crash in Malibu.
Bruce Jenner, 65, is having such a tough time right now. The reality star survived a gnarly car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, Calif. that left one woman dead and seven others injured. Police are saying that the likelihood that the reality star was being chased by paparazzi at the moment the accident occurred is slim. Here’s what we know.
Bruce Jenner’s Accident: Paparazzi Not The Cause Of The Car Crash
Bruce was not being chased by paparazzi when the accident occurred, L.A. County Sheriff’s Department’s Sgt. Phillip Brooks told our sister site Variety.
Phillip told KNBC that claims he was being hunted by paparazzi for photos were “unlikely.”
Wow. There’s no official word yet on who is exactly at fault for the accident. Police are still investigating, but it looks like Bruce rear-ended a white Lexus. The white Lexus moved into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a black Hummer. The woman driving the white Lexus, reportedly identified as Kim Howe, a neighbor of the Kardashians’ Calabasas home, died at the scene.
As expected, Bruce is devastated over the accident. HollywoodLife.com found out EXCLUSIVELY how Bruce is doing after the fatal crash.
“He said it was just awful and he felt absolutely horrible,” our source said. “This has taken quite some toll on him and I’d be surprised if he ever drives again.”
Our thoughts go out to all involved.
