The audience waited with bated breath as the Purple One presented the nominees for album of the year. Prince ultimately revealed Beck as the big winner, and the crowd went wild! The always modest artist invited everyone who worked on the album with him on stage to revel in the special moment.
After receiving the award from “his Prince”, Beck gave a heartfelt acceptance speech, saying, “We made this record at my house for the most part, so I’d like to thank my kids, who let me keep them awake a little longer.” Aww, so sweet!
We absolutely adore Morning Phase and we’re thrilled that Beck won!
