Cissy Houston With Bobbi Kristina At Hospital: Playing Whitney Houston Songs

If a new report claiming Bobbi Kristina, 21, was deprived of oxygen for up to 30 minutes before she was found is true, then tragically, she is now brain dead, according to a HollywoodLife.com expert.

But that’s not stopping Cissy, 81, from hoping against hope.

“Cissy is keeping her hands together and hoping for a miracle. She’s hoping something miraculous will happen — anything to wake Krissy up. She thinks the sound of Whitney‘s voice will heal Bobbi Kristina,” a family source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

“She told a relative of hers to play Nippy’s ‘I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.’ She said, ‘That song powered Nippy (Cissy’s nickname for Whitney) through one of her dark periods, maybe it will help Krissy come back to me,” our source adds.

Cissy Houston Suffers Health Scare Upon Seeing Bobbi Kristina Brown

Cissy broke down the moment she laid eyes on Bobbi Kristina in her hospital bed.

“Poor Cissy can’t handle this. She took one look at Bobbi Kristina and got short of breath. Her heart also started palpitating. It was scary for the family. The minute Cissy walked into the room, she was shaking and visibly nervous,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

“They had to sit Cissy down in a chair in Bobbi Kristina’s room and call a doctor in. She’s alright now — they have her breathing into an oxygen machine to calm her down and give her air,” our source adds.
