Selena and Zedd are planning on going public with their new romance at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 8 — as long as Justin doesn’t show up, that is. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that if the Biebs attends, Selena won’t.
Justin Bieber, 20, is coming out with a new album later this year and he’s recently been on a huge promotional kick, so even though he’s not nominated for any Grammy awards this year, he may decide to attend the show on Feb. 8. Unfortunately, if that does happen, Selena Gomez, 22, won’t attend the big ceremony with her new boyfriend, Zedd, 25. Is she afraid of a run-in? Here’s what we know!
Selena Gomez’s Grammy Awards Date: She Won’t Go With Zedd If Justin Bieber Attends
Music’s biggest night is shaping up to be exciting for Zeddlena fans, but a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Selena’s plans to attend with Zedd could all be ruined if Justin chooses to go.
“She’ll be trying to avoid Justin at the Grammys. If he goes she’ll bail — she’s not looking for any drama,” our source says.
We don’t blame Selena for wanting to avoid any awkward meetings between her two men. After all, they know each other — Justin even introduced Selena to Zedd — so it’s bound to be uncomfortable. Besides, who doesn’t want to avoid their ex? Of course, there’s a big possibility Justin won’t attend the ceremony, since he’s not nominated for any awards this year. So maybe Selena and Zedd will be in the clear.
Zedd Better Than Justin Bieber? — How The EDM DJ Proves It To Selena Gomez
“Zedd is real, isn’t a brat, doesn’t have an ego that’s off the charts, and he’s embracing his talent and doing stuff with it. He cherishes all that he has and enjoys his life. Justin’s ego and ‘me first’ attitude is something that Selena doesn’t like. Zedd is a real guy and down-to-Earth,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
It sounds like Selena found a great guy — but we understand why she’d want to keep Zedd and Justin apart. But what do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Selena skip the Grammy Awards if Justin attends? Let us know!
