As if we needed any more of a reason to love Ryan Reynolds, he yet again reminds us how hilarious he is. The new father went on ‘Kelly and Michael’ and told both hosts he was terrified to have a boy. His reason? He likes his house the way it is!
Ryan Reynolds, 38, has embraced fatherhood, but he admitted on Feb. 5 that he’s glad he and his wife, Blake Lively, 27, had a baby girl. During his interview on LIVE! With Kelly and Michael, the actor admitted he was terrified of the chance he could have a son. Yes, even tough men like Ryan get scared!
Ryan Reynolds Wasn’t Mentally Prepared To Have A Boy
Proud daddy, Ryan Reynolds, still has the hilarious charm that made hime a household name.
The reason? Well, if you didn’t know, the Canadian actor has three older brothers — so he’s not oblivious to the amount of destruction that could go down inside a home when you have little boys running around.
“I like my house,” he told the hosts.
Right away Kelly thought he meant that he loved being “king of the castle,” but no… it had nothing to do with that!
He joked by saying, “growing up our house was like a wiffle house… it was just full of holes, because were just animals. Boys are animals, they’re psychotic!”
We loved the part when he said, “at seven and eight-years-old we were already drywalling before my dad got home.”
Ryan Assures Us His Baby Does Have A Name
“We definitely [have a name],” he told David. “I threw out the idea of just never naming the kid to be totally original, but we have a name. I just don’t want to say it in, like, a media context. I tell everyone who I meet, so it’ll come out.”
We can’t wait to find out what name Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds came up with!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers, would you like to see Ryan and Blake have a baby boy? Let us know!
