For the first time since apologizing to his fans, Justin Bieber is explaining his decision to reveal his vulnerable side and admit that he has made a lot of mistakes in the past.
Justin Bieber, 20, showed off that adorable signature smile while talking to Ellen DeGeneres about his recent public apology. Not only did the singer reveal what made him so nervous about being back on television after so long, but he also shared how grateful he is for the people who have stuck with him.
Justin Bieber Explains His Public Apology
Finally, the Justin Bieber the world once fell in love with has returned.
Sitting down for a one-on-one with Ellen, Justin shared his reasoning behind filming the touching apology video he posted online in which he admitted to being arrogant and conceited.
“It was the first time I was on television for a long time, and I just was worried what people were thinking about me,” Justin explained.
“Like I said last time, I did a lot of things over the past few years that I’m not proud of.”
Ellen also revealed that she spoke to Justin after his interview on Jan. 29, which is when he revealed to her how nervous he had been.
Aw, poor Justin! Thankfully, his nerves seem to have subsided as he was back for a second interview on Feb. 5.
Justin Wants People To Know He’s Human
“I am a human, right? People often forget that,” Justin told Ellen during his interview.
He also admitted that sometimes other peoples comments really get to him and hurt his feelings, and that maybe they don’t realize he does see them.
“I gotta be strong enough to just keep it pushing,” Justin said.
Even more exciting, Justin said that he’s looking forward to “growing” and “being better.” Then, he thanked his fans for continuing to support him after all this time.
