Katy Perry dissed Taylor Swift in front of 114 million people during the Super Bowl Halftime Show, so we’re not surprised the ‘Blank Space’ singer wants to get back at her. But will she diss Katy at the Grammys, another major televised event? Here’s what we know.
Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are both confirmed to be attending the Grammy Awards on Feb. 8. Considering they have an ongoing feud, and Katy dissed her at the Super Bowl on Feb. 1, we can only imagine that the “Teenage Dream” singer is worried Taylor may retaliate on live TV this weekend. Will she? Find out!
Taylor Swift’s Revenge Diss On Katy Perry — Will It Happen At The Grammys?
“Taylor doesn’t want an awards show to be the place she gets back at Katy because when Kanye West did that to her a few years ago, it put her on the map. Taylor respects the Grammys and what it’s all about — she does not want want to bastardize the show with her feud. Taylor is looking to do the diss in a future music video,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
We’re not happy these two are feuding, so it’s nice to hear that the Grammys will be free of any fighting — at least between Katy and Taylor.
Katy is actually performing at the show, so hopefully she feels the same way that Taylor does and keeps the disses at bay.
Katy Perry’s Performing At The Grammy Awards
In 2013, Katy talked candidly about the emotional song, admitting it was about a time when she considered suicide.
“That song is evident of how tough it really was at a certain point. I asked myself, ‘Do I want to endure? Should I continue living?” she told the magazine.
Meanwhile, Taylor said she will just be dancing in the audience — she’s not scheduled to perform.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think it is time for Katy and Taylor to make up? Are you looking forward to Katy’s performance? Tell us how you feel!
