Publicly, Kris is supporting Bruce’s decision to become a woman but privately she has not handled the news well at all, claims a new report.
Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner are reportedly barely speaking unless it has to do with their businesses and no mention of his “transition” is ever made by Kris. The momager doesn’t want to be seen as “turning her back” on Bruce but when the cameras aren’t there she is said to be less than supportive, according to Us Weekly.
Kris & Bruce Jenner’s Rift Over His ‘Transition’ Decision
Kris and Bruce are officially divorced and have been separated for over one year, so you would think that she would be more than helpful and emotionally supportive for Bruce during such a difficult time.
“Publicly, she doesn’t want to be seen as turning her back on him,” an insider tells the magazine. “Kris is in complete denial about what’s going on with Bruce. She doesn’t talk about it at all and refuses to acknowledge it!”
The biggest issue is that Kris is not happy with how Bruce has gone about handling this situation, especially agreeing to have a sit down with ABC’s Diane Sawyer.
“Kris is upset she has no control of [his docu-series],” claims an insider. “Bruce basically told her and the rest of the Kardashians, ‘This is who I am going to be and you can accept it or have nothing to do with me.”
HollywoodLife.com told you that Bruce and Kris were feuding over how he would come out to the world with his story.
The family has all began to call Bruce by his female name but Kris is refusing to use the name, claims Us Weekly. Bruce and Kris have reportedly been fighting over his want to dress and live as a woman for years.
“There was so much denial and so many major fights … She pretended it wasn’t real for years. They split up when she realized she’d tried to change him and there was nothing more she could do.”
In October, Kris called the rumors about Bruce’s transition “silly” on The Today Show and has yet to make a public statement.
Bruce’s Transition: Scott Disick & Kanye West ‘s Reactions
Scott Disick reportedly “didn’t react very well …. but it now on board.”
“They all came all around pretty quickly,” the source added. “But each of them had to process it in their own way. All they want is for him to be happy.”
Kanye West is the one who has been the most supportive, along with Kim Kardashian.
“He is totally fine with it,” the insider says. “He believes in live and let live, and he took it all in stride. He and Kim are just trying to show Bruce love and acceptance – complete acceptance.”\
HollywoodLifers, are you surprised Bruce and Kris aren’t agreeing?
