The second part of the ‘Chicago P.D.’ and ‘Chicago Fire’ crossover airs on Feb. 4, and thus continues the horrifying threat which teams from both shows are facing.
This is just terrifying. Following part one of the Chicago Fire/Chicago P.D. crossover on Feb. 3, the arc continues on the upcoming episode of P.D., in which the hellbent arsonist insists on wreaking havoc with threats to everyone from Lindsay (Sophia Bush) and Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) to Dawson (Monica Raymond). Check out the (literally) explosive clip now!
‘Chicago P.D.’: Lindsay & Halstead Are Threatened
This crossover is really pulling out all the stops to make sure audiences are either balling their eyes out or digging their nails into the couch throughout the entire two-episode event.
After the first hour of the crossover story, which saw the teams from both shows trying to bring Shay’s killer down once and for all, part two looks to be just as suspenseful.
In this clip, we see Mr. Arson (Robert Knepper), whose actual name is Gish, make sure that both Lindstead as well as Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Roman (Brian Geraghty) know that they need to take him more seriously than they are.
After spotting Burgess and Roman while picking up a pizza, Gish asks the two if they’re following him. They of course are, but assure him they’re just on patrol, before he hesitantly walks out of the restaurant. He seems like he might be going merrily on his way, until Lindsay and Halstead roll up behind him in their car…and he approaches.
Gish taps on the window, which Halstead chooses to roll down for whatever crazy reason.
“For the district,” Gish says, sliding the pizza through the open window. “Extra cheese.”
And then, in a moment so horrifying it will literally make you jump, Gish says, “you’re underestimating me again,” just as Burgess and Roman’s parked car explodes behind them (the two, thankfully, are not inside of it).
Are you guys excited for part two of the crossover?
