It’s about time, Leo! In a brand new clip from the Feb 2 episode of ‘Chasing Life,’ Leo gets released from the hospital and decides to start over with April. Watch him ask her out on their very first date!
This is definitely what we’ve been waiting for on Chasing Life. We know that April (Italia Ricci) is scared about spending alone time with Leo (Scott Michael Foster), but when she heads to his apartment, she seems totally confident — something he loves. He even admits that their relationship has kind of been moving backwards (ie., hooking up at a funeral home before even going on a date), and he’s ready to change that. But will she want to go on a date?
‘Chasing Life’: Leo Asks April Out
After Leo gets out of the hospital, April heads to his new (amazing) apartment. And there, they finally have a talk about where they stand. Well, sort of.
“The only place we really hung out out outside the hospital was a support group . . . and a strip club,” April said. “And a funeral home,” Leo added, creating that awkward moment since that is where they slept together.
“It seems like we’ve by kind of been doing things out of order,” he continues before officially asking her out (well, in, technically). “Well, maybe we should change that. What would you think about going on a first date like normal humans do? Except for the fact that it’ll have to be here.”
April Plays Hard To Get?
For April, she did have another life — like an uncle who was dating her mom and a job with her ex boyfriend. So of course, she told him she had some plans and naturally, he thought she was playing hard to get.
“I guess this is what it’s like to date you. I shouldn’t have been surprised,” he says laughing. With that, she takes a step closer to him, totally flirting and telling him she can come over after a family dinner if he doesn’t “mind starting late.”
“I was just in a coma for months so I think I can wait a few more hours,” he replies. And at that moment we swear they’re about to kiss. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see on the Feb. 2 episode of Chasing Life!
