Before Bruce Jenner‘s docuseries — which may or may not be called Trans-Jenner — airs on E!, the Kardashian/Jenner patriarch will reportedly sit down with Diane Sawyer for an interview, during which he’ll open up about his decision to transition to life as a woman.
Bruce Jenner Diane Sawyer Interview: He Plans To Tell All About Gender Transition
The 65-year-old reality star’s interview will air in May, BuzzFeed claims.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Bruce has been filming a docuseries, which will capture his full transition. It will reportedly air on E! (owned by NBCUniversal), so his alleged decision to grant an interview to ABC has upset the network, which airs Keeping Up with the Kardashians and its spinoffs, according to BuzzFeed.
Recently, Bruce’s stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian, talked about his “journey,” which will likely be the plot point of his new reality series, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I think everyone goes through things in life and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right,” she said. “I feel like that’s his journey to talk about.”
Bruce Jenner Docuseries: The Name Of His Show Revealed
The title of Bruce’s docuseries hasn’t been announced yet, but a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com that it may end up being Trans-Jenner.
“This is not a joke, the number one name for the show that is being thrown around is Trans-Jenner! It almost is too perfect. But another name they are also throwing around is Bruce Jenner – My Journey. They don’t want to fully scare off potential viewers with a very risky title for a very risky life change,” a source tells us.
Perhaps Bruce will announce the title when he sits down with Diane Sawyer. Portions of the interview will reportedly be filmed this week.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Bruce Jenner do a televised interview, announcing his journey?
