During the Super Bowl on Feb. 1, audiences were treated to a very special surprise: A trailer for the upcoming ‘Fast and Furious’ film!
Furious is back, baby! We got an extended peak at Furious 7 during the Super Bowl and the film, not surprisingly, looks seriously awesome. The trailer may also bring up some sadness for fans, though, as it features the late Paul Walker. Did you miss the spot on TV? Not to worry– we’ve got it for you right here!
‘Furious 7’ Super Bowl Commercial: ‘We’re Being Hunted’
“The most important thing in life will always be family.”
This is the powerful sentence that kicks off the brand new trailer for the upcoming installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise, Furious 7. The film won’t be released until Apr. 3, but you can watch the action packed new trailer right now.
In the–if you ca believe it– seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, it seems that Vin Diesel and co. are up to more of the same (the same being massive explosions and life threatening altercations on an hourly basis).
Along with Paul, and Vin, the film will stars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster.
Rest In Peace Paul Walker
While the new Furious film is sure to be awesome, it certainly also contains a layer of sadness. As fans will recall, one of the film’s stars Paul was tragically killed in a car accident in 2013. The superstar actor was only 40 years old at the time of his death.
In what is surely a bittersweet circumstance for fans, friends and family of the actor, Paul does appear in the movie, as he was able to do a large portion of filming prior to his untimely death.
Are you excited for the upcoming Furious 7? What do you think of the trailer?
