Katy Perry, 30, is keeping her promise about her “old school” special guest for her Super Bowl XLIX halftime show! Rumor has it that Missy Elliott, 43, will be the one joining the “Last Friday Night” singer onstage. Talk about a team!

Katy Perry’s Super Bowl halftime show is getting better and better.
Missy and Katy are teaming back up on America’s biggest stage, a source told the Associated Press.
Katy revealed her plan to have a surprise guest during a press conference on Jan. 29. Everyone started running rampant with ideas on who it could be. Britney Spears, Madonna and Janet Jackson were names going around the internet.
Both artists have worked together before. Missy was featured on a remix of Katy’s song “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) in 2011. In case you didn’t know, Missy is known for her songs “Work It” and “Get Ur Freak On.”
Lenny Kravitz, 50, will also be joining Katy onstage at University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona on Feb. 1. Such a hunk! HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that the pair will definitely be singing his hit “American Woman.”
Also at her press conference, Katy dished that she plans to have “lions and sharks” present at Super Bowl halftime. Well, those are certainly unexpected guests! We can’t wait to see how she pulls it off.
The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will go head-to-head at the NFL Super Bowl XLIX Feb. 1 at 6:30 PM on NBC.
