Oh snap — we can hear the drama already! The OG (Original Girls) of ‘Teen Mom’ did NOT want Farrah back on the show, however, the adult film star and mother of one just confirmed her return!
MTV’s spinoff series Teen Mom OG will feature the girls of the first season who openly dislike Farrah Abraham, 23. Unfortunately for them, Farrah will be returning despite their attempts to keep her off the show — we have all the crazy details!
Farrah Abraham Teen Mom Spinoff — Mom Will Return For Show
Farrah is officially returning to the show that gave her a name and she could not be more thrilled. “There’s going to be lots of excitement from the Teen Mom fans and MTV’s fan base as well, so I’m excited to be back,” she told US Weekly about her big return.
Since her first season of Teen Mom, Farrah has expanded her resume with a job in the adult film industry as well as by becoming an author. So why return to MTV?
Farah explained, ““I think it was important because I mean just weighing out the options and my future for my daughter. I think Teen Mom is important for the children and their futures. And I think it holds some good opportunities for Sophia and her future.”
Teen Mom OG Co-Stars Not So Happy About Farrah’s Return
Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, and Maci Bookout, made it clear to the MTV execs that they did NOT want Farrah back for the upcoming season, which is why she wasn’t originally meant to be on the show. After some reconsidering, MTV has obviously changed their minds.
Doesn’t Farrah feel a bit awkward and unwanted knowing this information? She says, ““I think they were more or less saying that there was more to my story that they really felt was missing from the Teen Mom show, and I totally agree with them,” she said. “I understand their point of view, and it was a funny situation to be in.”
The show will air on MTV this spring. HollywoodLifers, are you excited to hear that Farrah will be returning? Let us know how you feel in the comments below!
