It’s official, Kardashian fans. Bruce Jenner is ‘transitioning into a woman’ — and with his family’s full support, ‘People’ magazine reports. Plus, Hollywood Life has the EXCLUSIVE scoop on Bruce’s upcoming docuseries about his transformation.
Bruce Jenner, 65, is finally ready to take the plunge and become a woman — and he couldn’t be happier about it! Here’s why he decided that now is the right time to move forward with this life-changing transition.
Bruce Jenner Becoming A Woman: He’ll Share His Transition In New Docuseries
“Bruce is transitioning to a woman,” a source close to the Kardashian-Jenner family confirms to People magazine. “He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he’s doing. He’s in such a great space. That’s why it’s the perfect time to do something like this.”
Another insider confirms to the mag that Bruce is in fact filming a new docuseries about his journey from male to female, as multiple sites have reported.
“It will air when he is ready to be open about his transition,” the source adds. “But he’s acting more and more confident and seems very happy.”
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the series is set to air in the summer of 2015.
“Every single question that someone would ever want to know about Bruce will be answered upon completion of the series,” a source reveals to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He’d rather folks watch his series to understand just what he’s going through.”
“What’s driving him is that he knows in his heart that there are millions of other people in the world that are going through some of the same challenges he’s going through,” our source continues. “And if he’s able to touch one of those people by telling his story, he wins. This is a big deal to Bruce and he’s finally found the courage to reveal himself and hopes to encourage others in the process.”
Bruce Jenner’s Gradual Transition
Bruce made this gradual transition in part to help his family “adapt,” People reports.
You’ll remember we told you that Bruce’s daughters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, all rushed to his side after In Touch magazine cruelly ran a Photoshopped picture of Bruce as a woman on the cover of their latest issue.
“It was all the girls’ idea to be with Bruce to check on him,” a family friend told Hollywoodlife.com EXCLUSIVELY of the Jan. 21 father-daughter get-together.
“They just wanted him to know that despite everything he’s going through in the media and in his own personal life, they wanted to reassure him that they love him and encourage him to do whatever it is he wants.”
And it meant the world to Bruce.
“Bruce was thankful for that. He needed to hear that. He needed those words of comfort,” our insider added.
