‘Ted 2’ Trailer: Mark Wahlberg & Seth MacFarlane Return For Sequel

The sequel to the 2012 film has been highly anticipated and with the release of the new trailer, it looks like Ted 2 will be a hit! In the trailer, we see Ted take some major steps in life — including tying the knot and planning on having children with his new wife.

While it may appear that Ted has his life together, he does run into some trouble including that he will not be able to be a father until he proves in court that he is a human being — not to mention that he needs John to be his sperm donor.

The lifelong friends seem closer than ever and we loved seeing Morgan Freeman acting as the judge in the Ted’s trial — and high-fiving him when Ted proves that he has “soul” by singing.

Mila Kunis is noticeably absent from the trailer with Amanda taking her place as the female lead. From the trailer it is unclear if John and Amanda’s attorney character, Sam L Jackson have a relationship, but we love that the sequel seems to heavily focus on this lifelong bromance.

Mark Wahlberg — Spills ‘Ted 2’ Plot Lines

Mark was an open book while discussing the upcoming film with IGN. When asked if the characters have grown up at all Mark said, “That wouldn’t be any fun. No, no, no, they’re crazier than ever.” However, he did admit that John’s love life will still be an issue in the film for Ted, but it won’t be the main focus of the film because he has, “bigger fish to fry.”

Ted 2 opens in theaters on June 26th, 2015.
