Leave it to Rihanna to get a total makeunder and come out looking as gorgeous as ever. She looks flawless without any makeup at all, so this dark, minimalist approach only enhances her natural beauty.

She looks like a beautiful badass wearing her hair styled in thick box braids with sleek baby hairs and showing off dark brown lipstick. Her defined brows and subtle mascara draw even more attention to her pretty hazel eyes, and her large hoop earrings add to her edgy appearance.

We can’t help but draw a slight comparison to F.K.A Twigs, but this shoot was definitely a job well done by photographer, Paolo Roversi.

Rihanna’s ‘I-D’ Magazine Cover — Love Or Loathe?

This look is slightly shocking, but could we be expecting more edgy looks from Rihanna? The pop singer took a folk song detour on her latest single with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, so anything could be next for her!

We do know that RiRi tends to change her look in accordance to her current album, (bright red curls for Loud and edgy pixie cut for Good Girl Gone Bad), so there’s a possibility that we can look forward to more alternative looks.
