Lorde loved her look so much she decided to rewear it, adding a more casual twist to the get-up the second time around — how cool is that? All glam or dressed down, which way do you like the crop top?
Lorde may not be your average 17-year-old, but she’s just as down-to-earth as any other teen — and when she finds a look she loves she can’t wait to recycle it! The Kiwi songstress took a page out of Kate Middleton‘s book as she rewore her black crop top that she first rocked on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. Sure, this time around the stellar suit was nowhere to be found and she wasn’t dripping in diamonds, but it still looked just as good! One top, two ways? Very versatile!
Lorde Recycles Golden Globes Outfit — Rewears Crop Top & Shares On Instagram:
The songstress was one to watch on the red carpet at the Golden Globes as she stood out in a sea of gowns in her Narciso Rodriguez ensemble and an exquisite Neil Lane necklace, with her hair straightened and slicked back into a ponytail with a side part. A red lip rounded out her glam look.
She took to Instagram on Jan. 29 where she rocked the Narciso Rodriguez top, yet again — but this time her look was way more casual! The second time around she ditched the sleek, straight locks for a curly ponytail — and we loved the relaxed look. Lorde wore the custom-made crop top with loose, high-waisted Karen Walker jeans and white Stan Smith sneakers, captioning the photo: “all into reusing parts of past award show outfits (this is my golden globes top) cause they’re CUSTOM MADE and too good to just hang up and never wear again u feel!…”
Her closet may be the envy of her peers, but the teen is totally down-to-earth — and we couldn’t agree with her more! Recycling a great look is definitely one trend we love to see the celeb set support.
Lorde proved how versatile her sense of style is and we love the unique twist she put on her outfit. Do you?
