When FLOTUS arrives, she does so in style! Michelle has India raving after she landed in New Dehli, India on Jan. 25 wearing a beautiful ensemble by an Indian designer! Get the details on her colorful look below.
The First Lady of style, Michelle Obama, knows just how to make a first impression with her impeccable wardrobe — no matter what country she’s in! She stepped right off of Air Force One to greet Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and quickly stole the show in a beautiful garment by a famous Indian designer. What do you think of her look?
Michelle Obama’s India Dress — Stuns In Bibhu Mohapatra:
Michelle is pictured wearing a fierce, floral dress and coat with a graphic floral design from the Spring 2015 collection from Bibhu Mohapatra. The Indian-born designer currently lives in New York City, but still produces clothing that is inspired by the bright colors and feminine patterns of India.
This jacket and coat combo is absolutely beautiful on the First Lady! The knee-length skirt and full jacket made her look conservative enough for business, but the bold pattern gives a youthful flare to this look. She completed the outfit with simple black pumps, and we can’t imagine anyone else wearing this look better.
Michelle Obama Wears Bibhu Mohapatra:
Michelle isn’t the only one that loves wearing Bibhu Mohapatra — and this wasn’t the first time she donned a dress by the designer. Miranda Lambert was drop dead gorgeous in her blush pink chiffon gown from the designer for the CMA Awards, and Julianne Hough has worn a sexy patterned Bibhu Mohapatra dress as well. The list goes on!
We think this look was a great choice for making a statement while arriving in India. Do you agree? Tell us what you think about her look in the comments below!
