Take a bow, Kevin Spacey! Kevin was crowned Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series at the SAG Awards on Jan. 25, for his chilling performance in ‘House of Cards.’
Way to go, Kevin Spacey! The 55-year-old actor stuns in his role as President Frank Underwood on the hit drama House Of Cards. While there was a ton of stiff competition, Kevin managed to take the victory at the 2015 SAG Awards — even if he couldn’t be there to accept the award!
Kevin Spacey’s SAG Award — Outstanding Male Actor In A Drama Series
Kevin unfortunately wasn’t able to attend the ceremony, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Calif. Accepting the award for Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series on his behalf was Eric Dane and Emmy Rossum, who were presenting the award.
While we would have loved to see Kevin accept the award for his amazing performance on Netflix’s hit drama, at least there were no F-bombs dropped like he did while accepted the award for Best Actor in a TV Series at the Golden Globes!
It’s no wonder Kevin is heating up awards season! Kevin delivers a haunting performance in the political drama series, where he plays a fictional President of the United States who is presented with both legal and personal troubles.
Kevin had some intense competition at the 2015 SAG Awards. From Matthew McConaughey in True Detective, Peter Dinklage in Game of Thrones, Steve Buscemi in Boardwalk Empire, and Woody Harrelson in True Detective, all of these strong male leads were deserving of the title — but of course, the President came out on top!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you glad Kevin won? Who did you want to take home the SAG award for Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series? Let us know!
