‘Birdman’ Wins Outstanding Cast In A Motion Picture — SAG Awards
On a night where the best of the best filled the seats at the Shrine Auditorium in Downtown L.A., there was one award that stood out.
The award for Outstanding Cast is given by the Screen Actors Guild to honor the finest acting achievements in film, and it was no surprised Birdman took home the statue.
As Kevin Costner presented the award, it was Birdman who proved that as a whole cast, their performance was one for the record books!
Michael was very gracious and stated, “To look at all the great actors… this is for all of you. These guys are tremendous.” How sweet!
‘Birdman’ Up Against Some Outstanding Casts
This year the competition was fierce for the award for Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture.
Birdman, who was also up for multiple awards, made for a tough competitor, but that doesn’t take away from the other great nominees.
This was The Grand Budapest Hotel’s only nomination, but that didn’t mean they weren’t a noble competitor.
The other ensemble nominations went to, The Imitation Game, who was up for numerous awards tonight along with The Theory of Everything. Then there was also Boyhood, which was a huge cinema success this year as well.
