So shocking! A rapper known as Doughbeezy walked into a home invasion and ended up staring down the barrel of a gun in Houston, Texas on Jan. 20, a new report claims. However, he’s now being called a ‘hero’ after allegedly killing one of the attackers.
Houston-based rapper Doughbeezy, 25, is lucky to be alive, a new report claims, after he was attacked during a frightening home invasion on Jan. 20. Doughbeezy, who’s real name is Tai Carr, walked into his friend’s house in the Houston Heights during the invasion and ended up having a gun pointed at his face. It was what happened after, though, that shocked police!
Doughbeezy Kills Attacker During Home Invasion Shooting
He didn’t say anymore, but police say a victim — who they wouldn’t identify — took a gun out of a truck and shot and killed one of the home invaders, saving the day!
It sounds pretty similar to the actions Doughbeezy took before police arrived on the scene.
“I definitely see Doughbeezy as a hero,” fellow rapper Paul Wall said during an interview with FOX 26 News.
Doughbeezy was hospitalized after the shooting, but he is reportedly resting up at home.
Thus far, police have taken one man — 23-year-old Marquez Romero Heckard — into custody. He was at a nearby Wendy’s restaurant, FOX 26 News claims.
Our thoughts go out to Doughbeezy and anyone else who was affected by this horrific incident, during this difficult time. We hope he recovers quickly.
