We aren’t sure which is more thrilling: this crazy clip of Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s new movie, Veronica Decides to Die, or the fact that the star still looks 20! Either way, you need to watch the clip immediately– and we’ve got it for you right here!

Sarah Michelle Gellar In ‘Veronika Decides To Die’

“I need pills,” Sarah Michelle says in this nerve-wracking clip from E! Online for Veronika Decides to Die. “I want to die on my own terms,” she adds.

Watch the clip here!

In the movie, which was actually shot in 2009 and is available on VOD, Sarah plays a young woman who attempted suicide then wakes up in a mysterious mental institution. Under the supervision of an unorthodox psychiatrist who specializes in controversial treatment, Veronica learns she only has weeks to live.

It sounds like Sarah is getting back to her science fiction roots!

The film also stars Oscar winner Melissa Leo as a fellow asylum patient and Justified star Jonathan Tucker. Though production wrapped nearly seven years ago, Veronika was initially released only in Poland, Sweden and North Korea. No official comment has been made as to why the release was delayed in North America.

Sarah’s Small Screen Legacy

Most of Sarah’s career has taken place on the small screen, most notably her role as teenage monster hunter Buffy in Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Most recently, she starred on the short lived CBS series The Crazy Ones, opposite the late Robin Williams.

When Robin, who played Sarah’s father on the series, tragically passed away late last year, Sarah released a statement expressing her grief. “My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams,” Sarah said. “To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the father I had always dreamed of having.”

Very touching.
