Dakota Johnson In ‘Vogue’ Magazine — February 2015 Cover Star
Dakota wears a bevy of designers in the magazine, including Nina Ricci, Balenciaga, and Proenza Schouler.
Dakota’s pretty waves on the cover were done by Christiaan. We love the Bumble and bumble Cityswept Finish spray for texture and separation.
Her minimal makeup was done by Lucia Pica for Chanel Beauté. She’s wearing a very natural beauty look on the cover with almost no eye makeup. Her lips are stained with a pretty berry color and her skin looks flawless.
Dakota Johnson: Why She Wanted To Be Anastasia Steele
Dakota told the magazine why she chose such a high-profile role:
“I think about my dwindling anonymity, and that’s really scary because a very large part of me would be perfectly happy living on a ranch in Colorado and having babies and chickens and horses — which I will do anyway. I wanted to be involved because it’s so different and it’s an intense love story.”
“It’s just the most insane thing to be a part of. I’ve never experienced anything like this; I don’t think anyone has. It’s terrifying — and it’s exciting.”
The February issue of Vogue hits newsstands January 21.
