It’s easy to criticize… It should be just as easy to give credit where it’s due. There is some good acting in this #WhitneyMovie.

‘Whitney’ Biopic Film
The film starts Whitney’s story in 1989 when she meets estranged ex-husband Bobby Brown (Arlen Escarpeta), who asks a young Whitney out. It’s pretty much love at first sight, but as we know, Whitney and Bobby’s high profile relationship crumbled in front of the public eye, as the film shows.
The film also depicts Whitney’s struggle with drug abuse, which gradually (and sometimes not so gradually) worsens as the movie goes on, along with her relationship with Bobby.
With stellar performances by the cast, especially Yaya and the incredible vocals by Deborah, Whitney is definitely worth a watch. You can check out our full review here!
