It was bound to happen. ‘Saturday Night Live’ took full advantage of Justin Bieber’s Calvin Klein ads in one hilarious spoof. Click to WATCH!
Justin Bieber’s Calvin Klein ads have been the subject of many conversations, and Saturday Night Live put their two cents in on the Jan. 17 episode. Kate McKinnon brought back her epic impression of the singer to totally mock his sexy underwear ads. While the spoof is very funny, did the show go too far in dissing the Biebs?
‘SNL’: Justin Bieber’s Calvin Klein Ads Mocked In Spoof
The spoof opens up with Justin (played by the always incredible Kate) playing the drums with images of model Lara Stone (played by Cecily Strong) flashing across the screen.
“I’m a big boy now,” Kate says in her best Justin impression.
We see Kate grooming Justin’s seemingly non-existent moustache and goatee, with Lara totally shocked at what’s going down.
He tries to kiss Lara and admits that one of his tattoos made his say “owie.” Kate brings all the laughs as Justin attempts to “workout” with mock push-ups and baby dumbbells. Lara even hilariously holds a juice box up to his mouth.
And that was all in the first minute of the spoof. “Yo, my pee-pee’s in there,” Justin hilariously says in the second spoof. Come on, SNL, that’s not very nice!
Later on, Justin messes around by playing basketball, gets angry over his scooter, rides in a baby carriage and messes up the final Calvin Klein tagline of “My Calvins.” Yikes.
OK, so SNL may have gone a little too far in their latest JB skit. They’ve dissed Justin’s egging scandal before, but this has to be the ultimate dig. However, it is Saturday Night Live, and comedy’s their thing. Plus, no one can deny that Kate’s impression of Justin is absolutely amazing.
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of the SNL spoof? Did you laugh or did they take it too far? Let us know!
