While discussing the topic of ‘youth’ with the Wall Street Journal, Kendall Jenner made a confession: she grew up way too fast.
Kendall Jenner, 19, has opened up about growing up on television with her family on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. In a blog post for the Wall Street Journal, the television personality-turned-fashion model also revealed that she was raised to be a “workaholic.”
Kendall Jenner Feels Like She ‘Grew Up Too Fast’
This is definitely interesting, especially considering that Kendall, at just 19 years old, already has her own apartment and a successful career.
For the firs time, Kendall is speaking up about how she feels like she may have matured much faster than other girls her age.
“I feel like I grew up too fast a long time ago,” Kendall wrote in the WSJ‘s “The Columnists” on Jan. 16.
“Having older siblings, you grow up around adults, so you mature more quickly. I saw my sisters and parents working every day, so I was pretty much brought up to be a workaholic.”
And that’s exactly what she is! However, Kendall has worked really hard to become the successful model she is today. She should also be proud of herself, no?
Kendall Admits She’s ‘Scared’ Of Turning 20
In her short blog, Kendall also talked about recently turning 19 years old — and how she’s already dreading the next birthday.
“I just turned 19 a couple weeks ago, and I’m scared to be 20—it’s the first step out of being a teenager,” she admitted.
Thankfully, those older sisters of hers have some experience that they can bestow upon her. In fact, that’s exactly what Khloe does, Kendall shared.
“My sister Khloé always says to me and my younger sister, Kylie [Jenner]: You have your whole life to be an adult but only so long to be a kid.”
That is some great advice. Sounds like you’re going to be just fine, Kendall!
