Did Jen and Angie finally make peace!? Jennifer seems to have extended an olive branch to the ‘Unbroken’ director on Jan. 16, when she complimented Angelina during a new interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight.’ See what she said!
Remember the good old days of Team Aniston and Team Jolie? Well, if you have one of those shirts, we recommend that you sell them on eBay because this feud might be finished! After both Jennifer Aniston, 45, and Angelina Jolie, 39, walked the red carpet at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Jan. 15, Jen revealed that their feud is “slowly coming to an end.” She even said some rather kind words about Brad Pitt‘s new wife.
Jennifer Aniston Loves Angelina Jolie — She Says Feud Is ‘Coming To An End’
When the Friends star was probed about her rivalry with Angelina, who famously met her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, 51, on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005 while she was married to him, she told Entertainment Tonight on Jan. 16, “I think that’s slowly coming to an end. I really do.”
The actress also added, “I think it’s time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness.”
And, get this: Jennifer not only made it seem like there was no animosity against Angie, but she also praised her work as the director of Unbroken.
“I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful, and she did such a gorgeous job,” the actress told ET.
Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal & More – Most Shocking Oscar Snubs
Obviously, they have the same taste in men, but these two iconic actresses should also be bonding over their respective Oscar snubs.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Unbroken received two Academy Award nominations, but shockingly no love for Angie, who is the director behind the magnificent film.
Equally, Ms. Aniston didn’t get a Best Actress nod for her critically-acclaimed role in Cake. We were really heartbroken when our favorite Friend wasn’t feeling the love!
In her candid ET interview, Jen used a metaphor to explain the unnecessary focus on her alleged tension with Angie, describing it as “just tiresome and old. It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes.”
Perhaps a shoe shopping date could be in the works!?
HollywoodLifers, let us know what you think: will Angie and Jen become friends? Is this actually a possibility?!
