‘Whitney’: Yaya DaCosta’s Rendition Of ‘I Will Always Love you’
We were already on board with a movie based on Whitney Houston’s incredible life, but if it’s going to feature more singing like this, it might just become one of our favorites.
Although it’s been nearly three years to the day since Whitney Houston sadly passed away, the loss of the legendary diva with the roof shaking voice can still be entirely felt. Lifetime’s film about Whitney’s life will air on Jan. 17, and we could not be more excited.
Along with career highlights and personal struggles, Whitney will also depict the infamous relationship between the songstress and singer/songwriter Bobby Brown. From the time that they met, through the height of their highly publicized marriage, continuing all the way through their very tumultuous relationship, all will be chronicled.
Whitney Houston’s Tragic Death
On Feb. 11, 2012, the horrifying news broke that singing superstar Whitney Houston had passed away at the age of 48, stunning both her fans and loved ones. She had been found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton, and it was later confirmed that the cause of death was a lethal combination of Xanax with other prescription drugs and alcohol.
It is undeniable that Whitney is still deeply missed.
Will you guys watch Whitney?
