Though the Oscars are pretty well known as the biggest night in show business, the nominations on Jan. 15 might just be the biggest morning in show business!

This year’s pool of candidates– both the films as well as the actors involved– is seriously stacked, and there’s surely going to be plenty of snubs and surprises!

Between acting, directing, writing, music and basically every other aspect of film, there are a total of 24 Oscar categories, all of which will be announced bright and early on nominations day.

Even those who are announcing the big reveal are exciting!

Chris Pine, directors Alfonso Cuarón (Gravity) and J.J. Abrams (the upcoming Star Wars), and Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs will all be on hand to help announce the nominees. The live stream will be broadcast right out of the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

The 87th Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, Feb. 22 and will air live on ABC at 7 p.m.

Though he’s hosted just about every other awards show on the planet, host extraordinaire Neil Patrick Harris will handle Oscar hosting duties, his first time doing so.

Will you be tuning into the live stream? Who are you hoping to see nominated? Tell us!
