Robin Wright’s Golden Globes beauty look was insanely chic! The ‘House of Cards’ diva just gets it right — all the time! Click to find out how Robin achieved her award-winning bob!
Robin Wright, 48, is always one step ahead of the curve! After all, she was one of the first actresses to cut her hair short before it was the “it length.” Naturally, the actress who was a 2015 Golden Globe nominee for “Best Actress in a TV Series — Drama,” proved that she is on trend with her hair, makeup, and fashion. Let’s look at how the House of Cards star aced her textured bob!
Robin Wright At The Golden Globe Awards — Her Exact Edgy Bob
As one the leading ladies on Netflix, Robin is a boss in both House of Cards and on the red carpet! Her sophisticated and edgy hair and makeup can be attributed to an all-star team.
Celebrity makeup artist Tricia Sawyer used Orlane products on Robin, all of which were used to showcase the actresses’ glowing skin!
Her gorgeous hair color was done by Kyle White, lead colorist at the Oscar Blandi Salon in New York City.
“I used an iced milkshake gloss on Robin which will neutralize any brassy tones while coating the hair to seal the cuticle tight and lock in shine for the entire night.”
Meanwhile stylist Paul Norton, from Sally Hershberger LA, gave Robin’s enviable tresses an edgy, punk rock feel by giving her “a fresh cut, severely shorting up the sides and back.”
Although her look seems simple, a lot goes into her chic bob. Paul tells us:
“I started Robin’s hair by having her wash with K-PAK Color Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner, which is great for blondes. When I got to the top section, I point cut the hair, keeping the hair very jagged and piecey, going shorter to longer as I worked my way to the front, leaving the front piece much longer for a more dramatic effect.”
Next, he added Joico Heat Set to her damp hair and blew dry it with a Mason Pearson brush.

Her natural, hydrated look was achieved by Tricia’s specific skin regimen.
Tricia first used three pumps of Orlane Anti-Aging Oxygenation System and applied it to Robin’s face and neck. Then she applied Orlane Absolute Skin Recovery Masque lightly all over the her face in order to stimulate Robin’s skin.
Once her skin was set, Tricia added Orlane Teint Absolue in Shade 13 foundation, and added simple black liner on the top of her eyes. Next, she used Sonia Kashuk Dramatically Brightening Eye Pencil in White on the inside of the eyes.
She completed her eye makeup with Orlane Volume Care Mascara, added individual eye lashes to open up the eyes, and finished off Robin’s full brows using Dior Universal Brow Pencil.
“To give some color to the face, I dusted on a blush and used Orlane Bronzer to lightly contour her cheekbones and jaw. Then I went back and dusted Orlane Transparent Loose Powder where needed to keep the makeup in place all night,” revealed Tricia.
