Could our favorite shows be coming to a permanent end when they hit their finales in the following weeks? ABC’s boss, Paul Lee, spoke out at TCA and revealed the fate — so did your favorite make it?
Will Emily (Emily Vancamp) and Ben run into the sunset on Revenge? Well, ABC has yet to renew two of its huge series — Nashville and Revenge. So, should fans be expecting the ax?
‘Nashville’ & ‘Revenge’ Future Revealed
“I’ve always loved the show and it’s a critical brand for us,” ABC boss, Paul Lee said at TCA about Revenge. “We will see where we go with it. We have some great storylines coming up this year and there are ways to reinvent it too.”
Phew — we could use some new storylines, and it’s definitely not time for the show to go. But what about the rest of ABC’s hits?
“We’re lovingNashville,” he said. “We’re going to have some great announcements about people who are going to appear on Nashville. It’s a very good brand for us, so we love that show.”
Great, now we’re just wondering anxiously, who?!
Changes On The Way For ‘The Bachelor’
Paul also weighed on Dancing with the Stars, announcing that it will be returning on March 16 for its 20th season (sadly, without Derek Hough). He also was asked about The Bachelor. After the outrage from Juan Pablo‘s season, many are wondering if the show will become more diverse — we’ve only so far seen caucasian, straight, Bachelor/Bachelorette seasons.
“You are going to see diversity as we go through that. I’m sure many of the future guys are going to be [more diverse],” he said.
Well, we’re just happy our shows aren’t gone!
