‘Sisters’ First Trailer: Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Get Down – Watch

Mon, January 12, 2015 1:33pm EDT by Add first Comment

This looks too good to be true! On the same night that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-hosted the Golden Globes for the third and final time, a first trailer was released for their new movie ‘Sisters’ and it might be the best thing that’s ever happened to us.

Though they are practically sisters in real life, BFFs Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be playing actual sisters in their upcoming film titled, appropriately, Sisters. The film won’t hit theaters until Christmas but, thankfully, we have been blessed with a first look at the film now. Check it out inside!

‘Sisters’ Trailer: Tina And Amy Return Home

Just when we were feeling depressed that Tina and Amy were done hosting the Golden Globes for good, our tears turned to laughter with this first trailer of the funny ladies’ new movie Sisters

The film follows Tina and Amy as they return to their family home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell it.

In this way-too-short first trailer, we see the two get down, dancing with each other in both a living room and a club.

We’re gonna need to see more immediately!

A Friendship For The Ages

Sisters will be the latest development in Tina and Amy’s joint quest to take over the world.

Most people know that the comediennes worked together as co-anchors on Saturday Night Live‘s Weekend Update at the start of the 2000s. However, the two actually became friends long before that.

They first met in Chicago doing improv together in the 90s when, as Amy said, their “dreams were as big and unshaped as our eyebrows.”

And the rest is history. The two both went on to write and star on SNL, then each get their own NBC series, win tons of awards and basically achieve earthly perfection.

Sisters will mark their second big-screen starring roles together, following 2008’s Baby Mama.

Are you guys excited for Sisters? Watch the trailer and tell us what you think!
