Just when we thought J-Lo couldn’t get any hotter than her look at the 72nd Golden Globe Awards, she outdid herself once again! She arrived at the Weinstein Company and Netflix Golden Globes After Party debuting a sky high ponytail!
Jennifer Lopez, 45, blew us away with two amazing looks on Jan. 11! First, she attended the Golden Globes wearing her hair styled in a middle part with effortless waves — later, she partied the night away wearing an ultra high ponytail. What do you think about her late night look?
Jennifer Lopez’s Golden Globes After Party Hair & Makeup
While J-Lo gave us a whole new hairstyle to envy over, she simply did a little retouching and kept her same makeup look from the Globes. She flaunted smokey eyeshadow comprised of shades of black and grey, while bronzer and illuminator highlighted her gorgeous complexion. Her nude lipstick had just the right amount of shine, but her after party look was really all about her sky high pony.
Jennifer’s hair was styled in a ponytail at the crown of her head, with an elastic hidden by her caramel strands. We love this look — it is the perfect balance of chic and edgy for a fun party look.
She even called the look “After party Barbie” on her Instagram!
J-Lo’s Golden Globes After Party Hair — Get The Look
Jennifer’s sassy ponytail is a great evening look for partying with friends. Simply bend or curl hair to desired texture and brush strands into a high ponytail. Next, take loose hair from the ponytail (about two inches wide), wrap it around the ponytail, and secure with bobby pins to hide the elastic. For a sleek look, like J-Lo’s, you’ll want to use a serum or spray to ensure that hair is smooth.
Don’t worry if you’re not the best hairstylist, you can still create this fun look for yourself! Try using Mia The Tonytail Pony Wrap to hide your elastic. It comes in three natural looking shades and you use it just like a rubberband for that chic, twisted look.
