Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) is not the only one looking for redemption. On the Jan. 11, episode of Revenge, Malcolm Black returns to find out what happened to his daughter, while Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) and Margaux LeMarchal (Karine Vanasse) continue to grow close following Daniel Grayson’s (Josh Bowman) death.
‘Revenge’ Emily Thorne’s Secret Revealed — Victoria Tells Margaux
While David Clarke (James Tupper) may have made his intentions to take Victoria down, that has not stopped him from continuing to shack up with her. However, when David visits Emily he admits that he has a plan to kill Victoria at the lighthouse. Shockingly, Emily thinks that killing her would be the merciful thing and pleads David to leave with her so they can finally get to know one another.
If only things could be that simple. Unfortunately, Jack is once again in a dangerous position. While leaving his apartment, “Douglas Taylor” aka Malcolm Black — Agent Kate’s extremely scary father — pays him a little visit.
Jack calls in the help of David to help him solve this problem, by “acting normal” for the time being, especially since he believes that Emily is dead. Jack’s partner, Ben, still clearly has an interest in Emily and the two take a walk on the beach to talk about the case — and of course remind Emily of the date that she owes him.
Margaux Hunts For The Truth About Daniel’s Death
Margaux is still on the hunt to find out what really happened to Daniel. Victoria calls her to the beach house to sort through a few of his belongings. Victoria sweetly gives Margaux the box of Daniel’s things to pass on to their child, but Margaux slams it down saying, “the only thing I want to give my child is the truth.” — and we have a feeling it won’t be a long until she uncovers it.
Louise Ellis, her older brother and Nolan all plan on having dinner, but Emily is not sure that it is a good idea — after she overheard a conversation between the siblings saying that she almost went to jail.
This whole time, Nolan has had her criminal file, but refused to open it — that is until Emily opens it for him and finds that she was almost arrested for assault and battery after her roommate ended up in a coma.
Emily attend’s Nolan’s dinner and of course catches Louise taking medication to “help the pain disappear” in the bathroom. Of course, Emily took one of her pills to make sure they are Xanax like Louise claims they are.
Margaux catches Ben calling Emily and leaving a message asking her for a date and immediately jumps to the conclusion that Ben has not been returning her calls about Daniel because he has “been busy wooing her.” Margaux then faints into Ben’s arms. Ben sweetly stays with her in the hospital until she wakes up and the doctor says that she needs to decrease her stress.
Louise’s Troubled Past Revealed
Back at dinner, things are very awkward during Louise and her brother — who is running for Congress. He then reveals that Louise is the one that found her fathers dead body when she was on fifteen and her mother divulged that she suffers from paranoia and depression. Of course, her mother was not actually there. Louise then slaps Nolan, who she had pictured as her mother — so sad, we are definitely warming up to Louise.
In the hospital, Victoria reveals the truth to Margaux of why Daniel saved Emily and who Emily really is — and of course, Ben is listening at the door!
Emily finds out that the drug that Louise is taking is not Xanax after all and finds out that her family has been drugging her all along. Meanwhile, David reveals to Jack that he actually hates Malcolm more than Conrad — didn’t know that was possible!
Victoria goes to meet David at the lighthouse and Emily is there to greet her. Of course they exchanged some nasty words per usual. Emily giver her yet another warning — before Malcolm shoots Victoria and knocks Emily to the ground!
