Eddie Redmayne is having one heck of year so far. The Theory Of Everything star beat out a seriously talented group of leading men to win the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama and we couldn’t be happier for him. Despite a number of amazing performances last year we have to agree Eddie’s took the cake — as well as the trophy!

It’s been an amazing time in Eddie’s life as he married his love of three years, Hannah Bagshawe, on Dec. 15, 2014.
The Hollywood Foreign Press honored him with the coveted Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama award which he truly deserved during the NBC telecast on Jan. 11.
This was no easy victory either as the field was packed with powerful performances by Eddie Redmayne in The Theory Of Everything, Benedict Cumberbatch in The Imitation Game, David Oyelowo in Selma, Steve Carrell in Foxcatcher, and Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler.
Big Night For Hollywood
It was also a big night for many other stars! Two of the highlights were Amy Adams winning the Golden Globe Award For Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for her work in Big Eyes, and Michael Keaton taking home the Golden Globe Award For Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his performance in Birdman.
