Chris Brown Shooting: Shots Fired At Another Club Appearance
Five people were injured as a result of the shooting at Chris’ concert. Four victims were taken to the hospital on the spot and one showed up later, TMZ reports. Chris was not hurt.
Chris was singing “Loyal” at around 1:20 a.m. when he yelled into the microphone, “Aw, them n***as gettin’ hit over there!” One shot was fired and people were seen backing away from the right side of the club. (Click to see that video here.) After that, you could hear multiple gunshots. Chris sought cover and people nearby helped shield the star from harm. His girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, was also at the club concert.
Here’s the video of the club shooting that Chris posted onto his Vine account.
He captioned the photo, “The shooting tonight at the club in San Jose #chrisbrown.”
In another video, after the initial shots were fired, the crowd was desperate to find safety. As people ran and ducked, even more shots were fired. Glass was shattered on the floor and multiple people could be heard saying “get down.”

“911” Communications Center received a call regarding a person who was
shot near a nightclub on the 3800 block of Monterey Road in San Jose.
Upon arrival, officers located four victims suffering from at least
one gun shot wound each. The victims were transported to a local area
hospital where they are being treated for their injuries. Moments
later an additional victim walked into a local area hospital suffering
from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Several people have been
detained by officers as they conduct follow up investigation.
Officers are on scene canvassing the area and
continuing to investigate the shooting.
Back in Aug. 2014, Chris hosted a pre-VMA party at 1OAK in West Hollywood. Shots were fired in the middle of the events, and Suge Knight was one of the victims. He was shot six times.
An eyewitness at the shooting said that Chris was the one the gunman was after, but nothing was confirmed by police.
This is so frightening. We’re so glad Chris is OK. Our thoughts go out to the victims of this senseless act of violence.
