‘Sex And The City’ Returning To TV? John Corbett Thinks HBO Should Revive Series

“I think there are a lot of stories to tell,” John, who played Carrie Bradshaw’s one-time fiance, told E! News while promoting his new thriller The Boy Next Door.

“There’s a lot of story left to tell with those women and if HBO got it together, I’d like to see the show come back for a couple of seasons like The Comeback. I’d like to see them come back for, you know, eight or 10 episodes a year for a couple of more years,” he added.

OMG! Can this please happen?

“We want to see [Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall.] Those girls are amazing actors and there are so many stories to tell even as well age and get older. You know when I started that—I’m almost 54 now—when I got that job I was 39. Time moves along. I want to see those girls as I’m into my 50s. I want to see them into my 60s,” he also said.

John’s comments come after SJP teased the possibility of a third movie in June 2014.

According to SJP, a third movie is quite possible.

“I know there is a story,” Sarah admitted at the Cannes Lions advertising festival on Monday, June 16. “Whether we tell it remains to be seen…the answer remains unclear at this time.”

Well, regardless of how they tell the story, we certainly hope they do!
