Just when you thought you’d seen every cover of ‘Let It Go’ in the known universe, ‘American Idol’ comes through and serves up what might be the best rendition ever. It even made JLo cry!

Nope, we’re still not ready to let it go. And neither is American Idol. Auditions are underway and, in this sneak peek for an upcoming episode, one hopeful singer absolutely slays the judges with the Frozen classic and it makes Jennifer Lopez super emotional. Watch the amazing video from the Jan. 8 episode here!

‘American Idol’: ‘Let It Go’ Performance Makes Jennifer Lopez Cry

Queen Elsa would definitely be proud. In a sneak peek for an American Idol audition episode, one pint-sized “contestant” put her personal spin on “Let It Go,” and it’s basically the most precious thing you’ll ever see. Watch and prepare for cuteness!

I mean, how could she not get a golden ticket after that?

While watching the “half” auditioner, JLo actually started to tear up. In fact, when the little girl arrived at the song’s final line, the two sang together, “the cold never bothered me anyway.” So stinkin’ cute!

Fellow Idol judge Harry Connick Jr. seemed to agree with JLo, telling the singer, “you were amazing!”

Judge Keith Urban was quite a bit more harsh, though! “The breathing technique needs a lot more work!” Um, ouch, Keith! Does the cold bother you or something?

Never mind though, because the future superstar still got her golden ticket in the end, running ecstatically to snatch it from the judges then giving her mom an adorable hug. The whole thing is amazing and kinda makes us want to see an American Idol: Toddler Addition.

FOX, any takers?

Are you guys watching the new season of Idol? More importantly, do you still love “Let It Go?” Tell us!
