So cute! Chris gushed about his two-year-old son, Jack, on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Jan. 7, and how he is ‘a remarkable kid’ who seems to be well beyond his years — even serving as Chris’ therapist! See what he had to say!
If he’s the son of Chris Pratt, we know he’s one funny kid. While promoting the last season of Parks and Recreation on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Jan. 7, Chris, 35, talked all about his bundle of joy, Jack Pratt, 2, who is already mastering the art of speech.
Chris Pratt On ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’: Says Son Jack Pratt Is His ‘Therapist’
Chris gushed about Jack being at a “really fun and cute age.” “You know it is really very easy to be patient with this kid. He is really a remarkable kid,” The Guardians of the Galaxy actor said.
When Ellen asked if Jack had surpassed the terrible twos stage, Chris seemed to think so, since the terrible twos happen when the toddler doesn’t know how to express what he wants. But Jack sure knows what he wants!
“He’s so vocal that it’s not that hard for him. It’s super frustrating because you’re like, ‘Jack I think it’s time for you to go to bed,’ and he’s like, ‘I thought about it and no thanks, Dad. Not right now,'” Chris said with a laugh. “He’s so polite! What am I supposed to do? He’ll be like, ‘Hmm, I don’t think so. I’d rather not right now.’ I’m like, ‘I did teach you to be polite. OK, you can stay up.”
Jack is the only son of Chris and his wife Anna Faris, and it sounds like they’ve got quite the smart cookie!
“He says amazing things, profound things. I was laying next to our bed we made a little nest for him during a retreat we took over the holidays…like lots of pillows and stuff, because we didn’t have a crib. So, we just made him sleep on the floor in his little nest and I was sitting down and I said, ‘You know, Jack, there’s a lot of people here and it’s very loud. People are gonna be having a lot of fun and their might even be some tension.’ And he just said, ‘It’s family.’ I almost started crying. I was like, ‘Thank you, son. You’re right.’ He’s like my therapist,” Chris jokes.
