Orange really is the new black for this ‘Real Housewife of New Jersey.’ Shortly after Teresa Giuidice began her 15-month sentence in a federal prison on the morning of Jan. 5, her husband, Joe, was forced to put on a brave face and drive their four daughters to school.
It’s been a long, hard, and very public journey for Joe, 44, and Teresa Giudice, 42, but the show must go on. Just hours after Teresa checked herself in to a Connecticut federal prison on Jan. 5, her husband continued on with their life and braved the paparazzi to take their daughters to school.
Joe Giudice’s Daughters: He Takes Girls To School After Teresa Leaves For Prison
Joe probably wishes he could lay low for a while, but that’s not an option when there’s a family to take care of. He’s started his 15-month run of being a single dad by taking his daughters to school, just hours after their mother left their home in the middle of the night to head to prison.
While Teresa serves her sentence for her 41 counts of fraud, including bank, mail and wire bankruptcy fraud, Joe will be the primary caretaker of daughters Gia, 13, Gabriela, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5.

As a police officer ushered Joe’s truck out of his driveway and onto the road, his eldest daughter gazed at the paparazzi and fumbled with her phone. Poor Gia! This must be so hard for her but thankfully she has a lot of support. She’s an avid tweeter, and she used the social media site to share her thanks for the well wishes she’s received during this trying time.
To ensure that the four Giudice girls will always have a parent to care for them, Teresa is serving her term first. It will be followed by Joe’s 41-month sentence, with a possibility of deportation afterwards.
Teresa has already expressed her concerns about Joe taking care of the girls by himself, but how do YOU think he’ll manage as a single dad, HollywoodLifers? Comment below and tell us what you think!
