Jennifer appeared on CBS Sunday Morning to promote her upcoming movie, ‘Cake’ but the conversation quickly turned to a discussion about her famous ex-husband, Brad Pitt. After being asked several personal questions about Brad, she finally slammed the host with her own personal question for him!
Jennifer Aniston just can’t escape an interview without being questioned about her ex-husband Brad Pitt. In a clip from the Jan. 4 episode of CBS Sunday Morning, Jennifer is clearly uncomfortable when Lee Cowan asks her if it’s “painful” that people constantly talk about their highly publicized divorce and if they still talk to each other! But if it’s so painful, why is he asking her about it?!
Jennifer Aniston Interview : Why Split From Brad Pitt Is No Longer ‘Painful’
Brad and Jen have been divorced for 9 years but they are still splashed across magazine covers on a weekly basis. The famous actors have each moved on, Jennifer with her fiance, Justin Theroux and Brad has six children with his wife, Angelina Jolie. So you would think that this conversation could have simply focused on Jen’s critically acclaimed performance in her new movie Cake, right? Not a chance.
Lee dove right in and told her that “it must be painful” constantly having people talk about their split.
“I don’t find it painful,” she said, clearly shocked by the question. “I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic.”
But Jen becomes even more visibly tense when Lee asks if they still talk to each other.
Brad and Angie met on the set of their hit 2005 flick, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, while he was still married to Jen. It was reported that they began an affair while filming but they each have denied this. Brad and Angelina married in 2014 after more than 8 years of dating.
Jennifer has been engaged for more than a year to Justin but no wedding date has been set that we know of.
HollywoodLifers, do you think it was wrong for Jennifer to be asked questions about Brad while promoting her new movie?
