Teresa will be behind bars for 15 months starting Jan. 5. In the days leading up to her departure, Teresa is clinging to her four daughters and showing how much she loves them by giving them thoughtful gifts to make up for her absence.
Teresa Giudice is “panicking” about going to prison, and on Jan. 5 she will be locked behind bars for 15 months. The RHONJ star, 42, is beyond saddened to leave her daughters, and is spending every last second with them and giving them gifts so they can be close with her while she is away.
Teresa Giudice’s Family Before Prison: Gives Daughters Sweet Presents
Teresa has a lot of fears about going to prison, and one of her biggest ones is saying goodbye to her daughters Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5. She’s reportedly been cuddling up in bed with her three younger daughters, Us Weekly reported.
“Teresa said she’s trying to remember their smell and how warm their little bodies feel,” an insider told Us. “During cold nights in prison, she wants to be able to close her eyes and pretend she’s with them.”
So heartbreaking! We can only imagine the emotional toll her absence will have on her four girls. Nevertheless, she is “taking videos and pictures of all the things they’re doing together so they can watch them while she’s gone,” the source says.
Some of the videos and pictures include the Dec. 6 New York Islanders hockey game they attended, along with the family’s ugly sweater party. Teresa has also written heartfelt letters to go along with the videos she made for every birthday and holiday she will miss. So sad — but at least we know that while Teresa is away, she will be in the girls’ hearts and vice versa.
Gia Giudice’s Tweet: Sad About Mom Teresa Going To Prison
We know that Teresa’s daughters will miss her too. Teresa’s eldest daughter, Gia, took to her Twitter on Jan. 3 and wrote, “can’t sleep, to much stuff on my mind,” followed by a nervous face and gun emojis.
It seems like Gia is taking her mom’s departure quite hard, and also being the oldest, she will have to stay strong for her little sisters.
