2014? Let it go! Who better to help Ryan Seacrest ring in the new year than the woman who dominated the radio in the past year. Idina Menzel & ‘Frozen’ were inescapable in 2014 — so let’s close off the year the way it started!

Idina Menzel, 43, was one of the of the most successful people of the past year — if you measure success in viral videos and pushing more Disney merchandise than Mickey Mouse himself! But seriously, the voice behind Else from ‘Frozen’ was everywhere this year and on Dec. 31, she brought 2014 to a close with an epic performance of “Let It Go” in Times Square for ‘Dick Clark’s Rocking Eve with Ryan Seacrest’

Braving the cold, Idina proved that she is a powerhouse by flawlessly belting out his hit without hitting a note. Wearing a beautiful long coat with her hair pulled back behind her ears, the multi-talented actor and singer was definitely channeling her inner Elsa!

Idina joined an all-star lineup of performers on the broadcast including Taylor SwiftFlorida Georgia Line and One Direction!

If you haven’t seen Idina this year, then you probably weren’t watching TV… or going to the movies… or listening to the radio. She kicked off 2014 by performing the now iconic Frozen ballad at the Academy Awards, for which the song won an Oscar for and Idina got a new nickname — Adele Dazeem. What followed was a world wind adventure for the Broadway star, including the continued success of her Broadway show If/Then, the release of her first Christmas Album, and even talk of a ‘Frozen’ sequel! Hey, you knew it was coming!
