Rumors have been running wild that Rihanna is pregnant, and now MediaTakeOut is claiming to have a sonogram picture of her alleged unborn baby. But does the photo actually prove anything? Medical experts weigh in to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Fans were shocked when a new sonogram photo on MediaTakeOut appeared to show Rihanna‘s alleged nine-week old fetus nestled in her womb. However, our experts have uncovered telltale clues that suggest Rihanna probably isn’t pregnant after all. Here’s what they have to say.
Rihanna’s Sonogram Picture: Does It Prove She’s Pregnant? — Experts Weigh In
OB-GYN Dr. Linda Burke-Galloway, the author of The Smart Mother’s Guide to a Better Pregnancy, debunks MediaTakeOut’s claim that Rihanna is nine weeks pregnant, saying of the sonogram: “The picture appears to be of a fetus that is already into the second trimester. It is more advanced than nine weeks.”
“You can see an umbilical cord and somewhat of a spine. It is clearly more advanced,” she adds. “The crown-rump length shows that it wouldn’t be within the first trimester.”
Dr. Daniel Roshan of NYU Langone Medical Center agrees.
“Yes, it looks bigger,” he tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “To me looks like 12 to 13 weeks.”
Two solid HollywoodLife.com sources have already said that Rihanna is definitely NOT pregnant, so these experts further back our exclusive reporting.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, MediaTakeOut published a sonogram picture allegedly belonging to Rihanna on Tuesday, Dec. 30.
The photo even had Rihanna’s real name — “Fenty, R.” (Robyn Fenty) — printed on the bottom left corner, but that definitely could have been Photoshopped.
The outlet first claimed that Rihanna was pregnant in early December 2014.
