Are you ready for new music from D’Angelo? Good news: it’s finally here!

At 12am on Monday, Dec. 15, D’Angelo released his first new album in 14 years. Actually, it’s a lot closer to being his first album in 15 years since his last was released in Jan. 2000.

“Black Messiah” is now available for download on iTunes, but if you want to give the record a listen before you decide to purchase it, all 12 songs can be streamed on Spotify.

The R&B singer used his third album as an excuse to tweet for just the fourth time in 7 months. Apparently, he likes to do things very sparingly.
