Praise! We’re finally getting more answers about ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’. We can now put names to some of the new faces in the seventh installment. So, who are we dealing with here?
Star Wars: The Force Awakens doesn’t hit theaters until Dec. 2015, but we are hungry for any and all information surrounding the new movie. After a short trailer and casting news, character names for the new faces in the galaxy have been revealed in a series of trading cards!
‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Character Names Revealed
J.J. Abrams, we love you. The director of the highly-anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens relinquished character names for the newbies on trading cards, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Here’s what we know:
Daisy Ridley is Rey
Oscar Isaac is Poe Dameron
He’s one of the only ones with a last name. Hmmm, interesting.
John Boyega is Finn
Stormtrooper Finn! By the look on your face in the trailer, we’re kind of worried about you.
“He Who Shall Not Be Named Yet” is Kylo Ren
The droid is BB-8
Despite these amazing spoilers, we have yet to see Adam, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, or Max von Sydow. Veteran stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher were noticeably absent from the trailer.
