At just 11-years-old, Quvenzhane Wallis has earned herself a coveted Golden Globe nomination. After learning about her nomination, the Annie star shared her excitement about being honored with a nomination for the 2015 awards season.

On Thursday morning, Dec. 11, the 2015 Golden Globe nominations were revealed for the first time — and Quvenzhane was listed as a nominee in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy category for her role in Annie!
“OMG!!! I am so excited about my nominations,” the young actress tweeted after hearing the wonderful news.
The song “Opportunity” from Annie is also nominated for a Golden Globe in the Best Original Song — Motion Picture category.

Quvenzhane Faces Tough Competition
As exciting as it is for Quvenzhane to be nominated, she joins a fierce group of leading ladies.
Not only is she going up against Helen Mirren, but she also faces Julianne Moore, Amy Adams, and Emily Blunt.
