Seriously, what just happened. The Dec. 10 midseason finale of ‘Arrow’ left viewers in shock and in tears. Could [SPOILER] really be dead?
Now that’s how you do a cliffhanger. The season three midseason finale of Arrow featured Oliver (Stephen Amell) going head-to-head with Ra’s al Ghul and a major revelation about who killed Sara. However, the final moments of the episode went where only few shows have gone before. Arrow may have just killed off another main character, and it’s a big one.
Oliver Dies In ‘Arrow’ On Season Three Midseason Finale?
Oliver Queen is dead — maybe.
That’s exactly what it looked like on the Dec. 10 midseason finale.
Oliver and Ra’s fought atop a high, snowy mountain, and things took a turn for the very worse. Oliver took a few good shots before Ra’s completely obliterated him.
“Consider this an honorable exit,” Ra’s said before he stabbed Oliver in the chest and pushed him off of a cliff.
Yes, that happened. So, the real question is: Is Oliver actually dead? Mostly likely not, but shows nowadays have no problem shocking viewers to the core (i.e. Will Gardner’s death on The Good Wife.)
Like us, fans pretty much lost their minds over the possible death.

But that was just one of two huge shockers on the midseason finale. Malcolm Merlyn (the always perfect John Barrowman) revealed jaw-dropping information to Oliver — Thea (Willa Holland) killed Sara (Caity Lotz). She may have been drugged, but still.
Seriously, though. Oliver can’t be dead! He just told Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) that he loved her. Their love story can’t be over. EVER!
Arrow returns Jan. 21 on Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
