Pretty in pink and orange! These stylish stars didn’t let flurries stand in the way of striking a fashionable pose on the red carpet — instead, both gals had us thinking pretty spring thoughts as they brightened up the NYC night in two colorful minis we cannot get enough of.
Both Emma Roberts and Olivia Munn dressed to impress as they stepped out for the Valentino Sala Bianca 945 event in NYC on Dec. 10. Both stars showed off stellar styles from the iconic fashion house as they turned up to take in a couture collection. While Emma went sweet and chic in one of the brand’s signature collared minis, Olivia sizzled on the red carpet in a plunging halter dress — but which look did you like better?
Valentino Sala Bianca — Couture Comes To NYC:
Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli sent an all-white-everything, 47-piece collection down the runway at the former Whitney Museum of Art, all while paying homage to Valentino Garavani‘s 1968 white collection, (which included the dress Jackie Kennedy wore when she married Aristotle Onassis — it doesn’t get more New York than that!). While the 82-year-old retired designer stole the show, beaming from the front row, the celeb set he was surrounded by wasn’t far behind!
Emma Roberts’ Valentino Show Dress — Pretty In Pink:
Valentino sat next to Katie Holmes, who looked sleek and sophisticated in black separates — but it was Emma and Olivia that really had us doing a double take! Emma wore her hair back and parted to the side, keeping the focus on the colorful floral collar on her dress. The pink dress was all about the detailing, as bell sleeves added an extra dose of feminine flare. Emma paired the look with nude pumps, keeping the focus on the bold pop of color — she rocked it!
Olivia Munn’s Valentino Show Dress — Flaunts Cleavage In Orange Halter Dress:
While Emma went sweet, Olivia opted for a more sexy frock, as she wowed in a bold orange halter dress. She added a little extra edge to the look by wearing it with Rockstuds. I love the way the plunging neckline was balanced out by the full skirt — this dress was the perfect combination of flirty and sexy. The orange hue looked amazing on the star, especially when paired with a bold orange lip. A colorful butterfly clutch, (also by the fashion house), rounded out the look.
Sweet or sexy, we can’t get enough of these dresses — can you? Which look did you love?
